WELCOME TO OUR SECLUDED SETTING
NORTHERN
NORWAY AND THE
LYNGEN REGION
Lodge Havnnes is located in a remote and sparsely populated part of Europe known for its dramatic landscapes, clean environment and strong Arctic identity. The region’s seasonal contrasts, from the Midnight Sun in summer to the Northern Lights in winter, shape both daily life and the overall experience.
Northern Norway is a diverse area influenced by Sámi traditions, fishing heritage and centuries of coastal living, defined by steep mountain peaks rising directly from the sea, deep fjords and rich wildlife. Within this region lies the Lyngen area, known for the Lyngen Alps - an alpine mountain range offering some of the most dramatic scenery in Norway.

HAVNNES AND ULØYA ISLAND
Havnnes village is situated on secluded Uløya island at the entrance to the Lyngen Fjord and Alps. It is one of Norway’s oldest trading posts, with known settlements dating back to 5000 years B.C. Life on the island moves at a slower pace, shaped by generations of fishing, farming and local crafts. Today, Havnnes remains a small, authentic community where history is visible in the buildings, the surroundings and the atmosphere.
Lodge Havnnes is privately located, offering full privacy and uninterrupted views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. There are no neighbours or passing traffic, and outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, kayaking and boating begin practically at the doorstep.
Despite the remote feel, the lodge is built to an exceptionally high standard, combining modern comfort with strong ties to local heritage.

Havnnes combines elements that are rarely found together in one destination: authentic local heritage, complete privacy, exceptional comfort and immediate access to pristine Arctic nature. An ideal base for meaningful, highest quality experiences year-round.
