MEET THE FOUNDER
OLE B. GIÆVER
Lodge Havnnes is the result of a long-held vision by Ole Birger Giæver, whose deep family roots at Havnnes go back generations.
The idea first took shape in 2020, born from a desire to give something meaningful back to this unique place that holds many of his dearest childhood memories.
This without compromising the cultural and natural integrity of the area through offering a quiet, exclusive retreat for private groups of refined explorers.
What began as a quiet vision, became in 2025 a carefully crafted lodge, grounded in quality, privacy, and a deep sense of place.

MEET CO-OWNER
Together with his wife, Sissel, an accomplished gallerist and curator, Ole Birger has shaped every aspect of the lodge - from interior style to desired atmosphere.
Sissel has particularly been responsible for selecting all the artwork and has played a key role in designing the interior environment, bringing contemporary Nordic expression into harmony with the Arctic surroundings.
